Hollow Hoedown 1/2 Marathon and 19 Miler

8am Saturday in Hurricane, UT

This is a fun run with an awesome medal, course, and friends. Underground Runner keeps number of entries and costs low so you can run more. Alex Santiago from Santiago Photography will be there to take amazing pictures.

Heart Beat Dance Party

Friday, February 15, 2013 from 9pm-2am at the Washington City Community Center in southern Utah.

Ice Skate With Rapunzel

Ice skate with Rapunzel from Princess Character Visits at the new ice rink in Cedar City, Utah. It was planned for last weekend, but the weather was bad, so now it is this Friday, February 1st at 4pm. Located on Brent Hunter Farms at 3795 N. Bulldog Road in Cedar City. Just north of Willow Glenn Inn. Skate rentals = $1 and skating = $3.

Tuff Kids Bike Criterium

St. George City Races

Feb. 2nd starting at 10am

Held at the Former St. George Municipal Airport, 620 S. Airport Rd., St. George, Utah

This Tuff Kids Bike Race is for ages 12 & under. The races are in heats of 4 - 8 kids and will be grouped by age, bike type, and gender. All kids receive awards, T-shirts, and finish line refreshments! 

Pre-registration accepted until January 31st for $10 at the St. George Rec Center or on-line at:  www.sgcity.org  Late registration is $20 and does not guarantee a t-shirt.

New Years Party

 

New Year's Eve Party Monday, December 31, 2012 from 7pm-1am.

Held at the Washington City Community Center

350 N. Community Center Drive in Washington, UT

 

The Heart of Dixie, B92.1 and the Washington City Community Center are working together to bring you this amazing New Year’s party! Dance the night away with the areas best Djs and two video screens with music videos. There will be a giant balloon drop with confetti at midnight. Enjoy dinner or a lice of pizza provided by local area restaurants.

 

This is an all ages family friendly event created with the high standards of our community in mind. There will be 4 areas of entertainment including a Kids Land. Children 10 and under get in free to the main event, but for $3 they get unlimited access to Kids Land which will have giant bounce houses from Fun Time Inflatable’s along with Princess Rapunzel and Spiderman from Princess and Character Visits. There will also be games, face painting, pictures, interactive story time and much more!

 

Member of the WCCC can preorder discount tickets at www.eventbrite.com or show their card at the door to get the discount. Everyone else can preorder tickets at MyHeartofDixie.com. General admission is $10 and VIP is $15. Children 10 and under are free to the Main Event ($3 for Kids Land).

Pre New Years Marti Gras Party Friday, December 28, 2012 at 9pm at the Anti Gravity Center, 415 S. Dixie Drive Admission to this party is only $10 and is recommended to people 13 years old and up. You will receive a free New Years hat, glasses, Mardi Gras beads, Mardi Gras mask and horns. The Anti Gravity Center is spending $10,000 on a new light system. Bicycle Poker Run Saturday, December 29^th at 8:30am. End of the year fun ride poker run. Pre-ride teats, BBQ at the finish, Prizes for best hands. Fun easy going group ride with 5 stop. At each stop you pick up a playing card. When your back to the shop the best hands will win prizes. Meeting at 8:30 am with the ride leaving at 9 am.
