Calling all Cowboys and Cowgirls to come join the Evening on the Strip Fundraiser.  The theme this year is “Cowboys Then and Now”.  This year’s event will be a dinner and dance with live music provided by the Reid Family Band. 

Dixie Arizona Strip Interpretive Association is proud to be honoring the Esplin Family during our program. Lyman Hafen will also be introducing and signing his new book, “Where Two Streams Meet”.
The dinner menu will be Deep Pit Roast Beef, Three Bean and Frog Eye salad, Dutch Oven Potatoes, Rolls and choice of two deserts.
They have planned some great entertainment such as music provided by The Reid Family Band, Cowboy Poetry, a trick roping performance, dancing as well as our “Live” and “Silent” auctions.

Celebrate Halloween with games, treats, prizes, and crafts. Kids can make their own Monster Snot for 25 cents! Bring a trick-or-treat bag and dress up if you want to.
Children 4+ can enter a decorated or carved pumpkin into the Pumpkin Alley Contest. The pumpkin creation must be created by the person entering and submitted by 6:15pm. Winners will be announced at 6:30pm. My son's pumpkin won last year and we had a great time. See you there Monday!

The Home Depot in Washington, Utah is have a Fire Safety and BIG Tuff Shed Event this Friday, 10/14, from 4pm-10pm and Saturday, 10/15, from 10am-4pm!

Join them for games, food, prizes and a special kids club (I heard there will be bounce houses and snow cones too)!  The Utah Food Bank will be at the event accepting donations of any new canned or boxed food.  Donate to the Utah Food Bank and receive a discount coupon good towards the purchase of any fire safety item at The Washington Home Depot, one coupon per customer, per purchase.

The Washington Fire and Police departments will be there with the Smoke House, Fire Truck, Police Car and Finger Printing.
