Youth Fishing

Youth Fishing
Washington City Recreations is offering youth fishing at the new Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Park. Students learn casting, about equipment and, maintenance of streams, lakes, and other bodies of water. Fishing poles and tackle boxes are provided and available for use by all participants.
My son participated in this fishing class last year. My husband and son learned a lot and had a great father-son activity to look forward to. Washington City Councilman Jeff Turek was a wonderful instructor.
Ages: Boys & Girls 6-13 years old
Register: At the Washington City Community Center or online at washingtoncity.org/recreation
Register by April 7, 2012
Cost: $25
Lessons begin Thursday, April 12, 2012
Lessons are held Thursday evenings 6-7pm & Saturday mornings 9-10am.
Location of lessons is the Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Park, 965 S. Washington Fields Dr.
